I own a 1993 Toyota Camry (XV10 / 3rd generation model), and from someone who's had tons of suspension problems (thanks to many trips down dirt roads) I could make a few suggestions..

There are a few things that could cause a rattling or light knocking sound from the suspension, more often than not it's got to do with links and/or bushes in your suspension. I'd recommend you check those first, you might find it's something as simple as worn bushes.

If your car seems to wobble sideways slightly (or excessively) over bumps, then focus on the stabilizer bars and drop links. These keep the wheel travelling in a straight line when the suspension compresses and extends, so if they're worn the suspension's line of movement has some 'play' in it.

Either way, it would be best to take your car to a decent mechanic, preferably one that deals primarily with wheels/tires/suspension issues, they shouldn't charge you anything to simply check the suspension for damage.
