check the brake light switch on the brake pedal there are several wires only one will be hot (power at all times) then depress the pedal the other tow should go hot , use a test light to find out. if power in but none out replace the brake lighr switch at the pedal. if power goes thru the need to test the multi fuctuion switch located in the column. let me know it is a harder proceedure esp if you have an airbag. I will walk you thru it with out the airbag exploding in your face 27yrs ASE Master Johnies_witch2003@Yahoo.com
checked fuses, or checked for voltage to interior light socket?
dome lights do not work. checked the fuse which is ok. checked the bulbs which are also ok. where is the problem
which fuse triggers 1992 ford aerostar
You are left with bad switches, corroded contacts, and broken wires.
Check the dimmer switch
If you've already checked all of the bulbs and the fuses (to include the maxi-fuses under the hood), it might be your multifunction switch. I had the same problem, and had to take my Jeep to a pro to diagnose it.
The light switch.
I have no dash lights or gage lights that come on in my 1982 corvette, what could be the problem ? i checked all fuses.
ABS (Automatic Braking System) lights are IMPORTANT safety warnings. Have it checked by a reputable mechanic that knows ABS systems. There can be a problem that may cause your brakes to fail.
blowen fuse oh and check the bulbs I have the same problem with mine, I checked the bulbs and checked the fuses and they still dont work
If you already checked your bulbs then check your fuses, usually this is the case when all the lights stop working at the same time.
It sounds as if you have an electrical problem that needs to be checked. You may even have the wrong fuse for your brake lights.
