What could be the problem if my tail lights work but my brake lights dont work on a 1993 ford aerostar i have already checked fuses and bulbs seem fine?

check the brake light switch on the brake pedal there are several wires only one will be hot (power at all times) then depress the pedal the other tow should go hot , use a test light to find out. if power in but none out replace the brake lighr switch at the pedal. if power goes thru the need to test the multi fuctuion switch located in the column. let me know it is a harder proceedure esp if you have an airbag. If you've already checked all of the bulbs and the fuses (to include the maxi-fuses under the hood), it might be your multifunction switch. I had the same problem, and had to take my Jeep to a pro to diagnose it.
