The sensor is located below the hood on the pasanger side. It it normally the second relay switch. Their is three other relay switces.
Well I asked this one and now i will also answer it. It is one of the cables going from the shifter to the transmission broke
At your local Pontiac dealer or an auto salvage yard. Check Ebay and Craigslist.org.
It started in the Late-Third or Early-Second Millennium B.C., the actual "blowing" of glass using a tube did not occur until sometime in the First century BC.
As stated in the second phrase, the wind is blowing south.
I'd say its a short in the actual circuit board of the whole unit...so i reckon just pick up a second hand one from somewhere with similar miles on it or you can take the dash apart and check all your connections at the back of the unit and see if they are loose or have become un-plugged
The 2005 Pontiac Grand Am cigarette lighter fuse can be found in the fuse box. The cigarette lighter fuse will be in the second column, fourth from the bottom.
JC Whitney would probably be the first place I tried. Rock Auto would be second. Parts Hotlines would be third. Then I'd try Ebay Motors. Gonna be a little difficult to find a new one, and a new OEM one will be a needle in a haystack.. the H platform was produced from 1971 to 1980, so the fuel tank should be the same as the Chevy Vega, Oldsmobile Starfire, Buick Skyhawk, Pontiac Sunbird, and Pontiac Astre for those model years.
Why wouldn't it? There is NO difference between a 1999 and a 2000, as of right this second i have a 1999 Pontiac grand am with a 3.4 liter (what your looking at right now) and built it from ground up. I know plenty about cars.
You could have a short from the controlls to the fan
when the engine start after a couple second it starts checking

There were 3 400 cid. options. First was a 180 h.p. 403 Oldsmobile, second was a 200 h.p. Pontiac 400, and the last was a 220 h.p. "WC" code Pontiac 400.
Anything can be done with enough work. However after 1981, f bodies had chevy engines rather than the Pontiac. The Chevy trans will not bolt to the Pontiac block willingly.
its because of the dramatic gear change, first a second gear have bigger differences in size compared to the rest of the gears
under the hood on the front right side you have 4 relays the second from left to right
first of all stop putting water in the fuel tank second move the car to a heated environment
When? he died 2 times... the first when he sacrificed himself to kill raditz..his brother..the second when he sacrificed himself to keep perfect cell from blowing up the world.
The brake light fuses can be found in the fuse box. The brake light fuse will be in the second column, fourth from the top.

Reset button? What are earth are you talking about? My best guess, is that you want to know how to reset the computer. The easiest method for this is to just unhook the battery, and leave it unhooked for a few minutes. This will erase all of the learned memory. Reconnect the battery, and the computer will relearn everything it needs as you drive it. The only other thing I can think of is the trip odometer, the reset is a push button right next to the readout. Hold it in for a second, and it'll reset. If you're referring to something else, I need more info.
Sounds like a direct short It sounds like it could be a vacume leak at the switch or control panel that controls the vents. What happens if you rev the motor a little bit more than idle say 2000 rpm's and then put the AC on? Not sure but it sounds like a vacume leak at the control panel also I would listen for a hissing sound down by the control panel. The loss of vacume if it was big enough could do it and that would explain why it was blowing hot air if the control wasn't working properly.
