If this is affecting both mirrors, then the switch is likely bad. There may be a problem with the drive mechanism. Remove and disassemble the mirror to locate the problem.

you have to remove door panel and there are three nuts you have to take off of the mirror.

push the 4Hi button- Go's into 4WD. Push 4HI button again- Go's out of 4WD
Push the 4wd button.
remove your door panel remove the rubbers grommets, remove 3 10mm nuts unplug if power, reverse process
Not easy. TAke the door and window handles off then all screws you can find. Then the retainers on the sides and bottom of the door,pull out on the bottom and push in on the top and raise up on hte panel to diaengage from the door. Go to the following website. CHECK BOTH FUSE BOXES, ONE IS UNDER THE HOOD ( FUSE AND RELAYS ) THE OTHER IS AT THE DRIVERS DOOR IN THE SIDE OF THE DASH
sounds like a blown fuse. chec under hood and under dash fuses.
