Your water pump may have seized up which in turn snapped your timing belt. Get that checked out before you get your engine rebuilt. That is what happened to mine.

== == The clue is the over heating condition...........the engine is SEIZED, meaning it is stuck and needs to be rebuilt by a engine shop. If the engine cannot be turned over by hand, it is seized. Put the trans in neutral, and use your hands to try to turn the engine by pushing on the pulleys or by pulling on the belts. If it won't turn, it is cooked. When an engine is super heated, metal parts expand and get bigger, so that things that normally have clearance, now are hitting each other. Have it checked by a professional mechanic, to be sure about this.
maybe some water stuck in the cylinders
stratus clouds could cause rain and if they get to close to the ground they cause fog.
No.
Yes it could
It could be that your head gasket is shot. It may cause your antifreeze to leak, and your engine will overheat.
The Taurus could overheat for several reasons. The coolant could be low, the fan might not be operating properly, or the engine could have a stuck thermostat.

Yes, a restricted or leaking radiator can cause the engine to overheat.
Yes it could.
First check the truck for coolant leaks, make sure the coolant level is o.k. If it is there could be a blockage in the radiator or hoses if you have no idea what you are doing take it to an automotive repair facility an overheat could cause severe engine damage
sounds like you could possibly have a bad head gasket. the symptoms are surely all there.
the stratus doesn't have a mass airflow sensor
