you may have the same problem my 350 tbi had. the cam lobe was worn excessively causing a valve not to function at all. and yes it can be one lobe on the cam worn and the other lobes on the shaft can be perfectly fine.
A bad fuel injector poppet could cause that.
It sure could. If you KNOW how to use it and READ it.
I would like to know if my 2002 chevy blazer with a stock 4.3 vortec pull 2000 lbs ?
Not if the are the same fitting wise and gaskets are used if necessary. There could be differences as the vortec is designed differently.
10243880 if from 95-00 Vortec. Closest I could find.
cylinder 5 missfire detected. could be plug, wire, or bad coil...
A V8 vortec could be either a 350 (5.7 liter) or a 305 (5.0 liter), it will say right when you open the hood, i have a 305, the truck is a 97 Chevy 1500.
you neede to have the pcm scanned it will tell you which cylinder is misfiring. most prob. cause is the coil pack on that cylinder.
I would be suprised if you have adjustable valves.
a leak in a head gasket could cause coolant to go into only one cylinder.
It could have, Just count the spark plugs. 4 plugs= 4 cylinder 6 plugs= 6 cylinder 8 plugs= 8 cylinder
this could be a bad plugwire or sparkplug or a bad coil for cylinder 7.
