Did you check for power and ground to the pump before you replaced it or was it a shot in the dark? To find out if it is a fuel related problem you will need to spray a small amount of carburetor cleaner in the air intake. If it starts and runs a minute it is fuel related. If not it would be ignition. If it is fuel related you need to check the fuses and the relay.
