A loose, cracked or dry belt.
It sounds like you have a belt that slips when you take off. This will cause a high pitched squeal.
There are many ways for a Hyundai tiburon's air conditioner to mulfunction.
first of all, the pads may be semi-metallic and have chunks of metal in them which may cause the squeal, change to a less metallic pad may help, also the backing of the pads should have an anti-squeal gel applied to them, when you apply the brakes, the pads will hyper vibrate and can cause a squeal. The gel will stop the vibrating. first of all, the pads may be semi-metallic and have chunks of metal in them which may cause the squeal, change to a less metallic pad may help, also the backing of the pads should have an anti-squeal gel applied to them, when you apply the brakes, the pads will hyper vibrate and can cause a squeal. Possible worn out brakes
Check the belt on your alternator. If it is not tight enough it will squeal on a Rodeo. Be sure to get it checked soon or your belt could fall off or burn up your alternator and then you are stuck!!
check the wheel bearing
Your alternator is bad.
If the brake pads come with shims or other anti-rattle hardware and it is not used on the vehicle, the brake pads will vibrate against the rotor as they are being applied and that will cause them to squeal.
In my experience this would be because the alternator belt needs to be tightned.
Accumulation of brake dust, or brake pads that are nearing the end of their service life.
LOW AIR PRESSURE IN YOUR TIRES loose accessory belts such as alternator can squeal
If the noise is coming from the engine area, it is most likely a loose and/or worn drive belt. Try pouring water on the belt when it makes the noise. If noise goes away, then suspect a belt.
