Check the Power Steering sensor on the pressure hose. When you make a hard turn, such as in parking, it puts additional load on the engine. The power steering sensor then tells the engine control module so it can raise the fuel flow rate to compensate thus maintaining engine speed.
If the trye has gone out of round (an MOT failiure ) Yes the car will shudder when driving.
Take off shudder is most commonly caused by one of three things. Broken motor mounts, a broken transmission mount, or bad u joints will all cause the shudder.
Front wheel shudder could come from worn tires, bad brakes, or worn front end components. Check all of these to find the cause of the shudder.
I had a 1987 Chevy Celebrity that would start and then immediately die. It turned out to be bad fuel injectors. I replaced three fuel injectors and the problem has not returned.
You have a fuel leak somewhere. Look for loose connections or bad hose.
I would suspect low fuel pressure would cause both conditions.
Torque converter going out. Try adding some GM Limited Slip Additive to your transmission, about $9 for a small bottle at the Chevy shop.
Warped rotor(s).
Could be, time for a tune up.
Clutch bearing may be going out on kompressor.
Low or no freon will cause the AC not to work. Also if the clutch on the AC compressor has failed, or if the compressor itself failed.
my '87 celebrity does the same thing sometimes when i change gears from park to drive or even reverse and step on the gas my mechanic says it could be the choke. have it checked
