You are dehydrated. That's the color when it's concentrated ... too much waste carried in not enough water. Drink not less than 2 quarts of water a day for the next 3 days and see what happens. (2 quarts is 8 standard measuring cups, or 3 big glass tumblers.)

What can cause your urine orange colored and nausea?

Any change in urine along with nausea would be cause for alarm for me, especially if there is fever. This isn't anything to mess with; get to your physician right away. It could just be something you ate, but if it is a urinary tract infection, you don't want it to get worse.

Does mono cause orange urine?

I have never heard of "orange" urine being a symptom of dehydration. Usually dehydration will cause very deep yellowing of the urine because it is not dilluted with enough water, it wont CHANGE the color of your urine. It can also lead to kidney stones. From my understanding, orange urine could be a symptom of liver inflamation, which in itself is a symptom of something else. Your liver doesn't just inflame for no reason. This information I have gathered as I too have orange urine, which is caused from liver inflamation which is caused from mono, which I was diagnosed with about 3 months ago. Best bet, go see a doctor. The whole "I dont have insurance" thing I keep reading is ridiculous....go to your local Health Department! The states already provide assistance to those without insurance, we dont need any more assistance programs...just use the ones we already have!
