build up or clucth
I experienced a knocking noise in my 03 Xterra and found out is was a bad wheel bearing seal and had to have the Nissan dealership replace it for about $400 (includes labor and parts).
check your fusible link, its connected to your positive battery cable,it could be burnt or swollen.
It could be freon, it could be various other things.. Have your freon checked first there may be a faulty thermister behind your glove box . it regulates the temperature of the a/c...be sure your freon is up to specs before you begin troubleshooting the system
Could be a noisy ac compressor that is low on freon.
The radiator cap could be the cause of coolant reservoir overflow or backup. Have the cap checked to see if it is bad.
you could be low on coolant
A bad thermostat can cause overheating in a Nissan Frontier when the air conditioning is turned on. A bad compressor can also cause this.
Numerous things could cause the Nissan Altima to stall. One such thing is the idle control valve, also the exhaust system could cause the engine to stall.
Disconnect the positive battery lead, then reconnect. be careful not to touch anything with tools, or you could zap yourself. Good Luck.
nissan primera overheating after changing the water pump and radiator what could be the cause of this
In the 1988 Nissan the alternator, instrument panel, and backup lights shared a fuse. Before changing a fuse see if the backup lights work (have someone watch when you are in reverse). If the neutral start/backup light switch is broken internally, it can be blowing the fuse when you put the car in reverse.
