I suspect is is overheating for the same reason mine is. The coolant temperature sensor is bad. I jumped to gap between the terminals on mine for a second, and my fan started running. I haven't heard the fan on mine running in quite a while. I don't like to throw parts at machines, especially at other people's expense, but if your fan doesn't work, it would overheat.
Not quite sure of everything, but driving it in the heat for a long period of time could cause it to overheat.
clogged radiator
If the coolant reservoir can not maintain the proper level of coolant, it is possible the engine could over heat when the level drops.
well, when you drive with any of the four tires being low you will cause it to over heat, or it could be making a lot of sharp turns.
the thermostat stuck shut. will cause the car to over heat at ant temp!
I would say that you are losing coolant somewhere hoses, water pump, radiator.
No.
Yes
Yes it can.
drought.
over heat
The temperature heat that a microprocessor can handle is around 90-100 degrees Celsius. Any temperature over this amount could cause overheating issues and potentially damage the circuit board.
