What is the voltage current and power of microwave?
The rated voltage will match the supply voltage of your property (nominally 120 V in North America, and 230 V in Europe), but the rated power varies from microwave to microwave -you can find out by looking at the 'nameplate' data label which, by law, must be attached to your microwave. The rated current will be the rated power divided by the rated voltage.

Why does a microwave oven turntable rotate in either direction?
The turntable in a microwave oven is driven by an alternating current motor which may start in either direction at random and continues to travel in that direction until stopping. The reason for using a turntable in a microwave oven is that the microwave energy is not evenly distributed across the oven. The turntable allows the food to receive an equal amount of energy by turning across the uneven microwave field. The microwave energy is turned to heat within the food. It actually does not matter in which direction the turntable rotates in order to evenly cook the food.

What is better microwave or oven microwave?
This question needs clarification. By definition a "microwave" is a microwave oven. There are Microwave ovens that are built in above a regular stove/oven combination and there are portable or stand alone microwave ovens that can sit on a counter top or on a microwave oven "cart" piece of furniture.

Why you need the current transformer and voltage transformer?
The High voltage transformer allows the microwave to run using the magnetron. With ony 120v to the magnetron, the cooking will be like with a 50-100W microwave. The high current is to manage current to the MOT with out oveheating while delivering current to the other parts of the microwave <<>> A CT. and PT. are required for any service enterance distributions over 200 amps. The CT's maximum amperage output is 5 amps and the PT's output is usually 120 volt in North American installations. These two values are inputted into a Watt hour meter. The total on the meter is then calculated by the utility company's rate and a bill for use is sent to the customer.
