hi, if you stand at the front of your car and face it....... number 1 cylinder is the 1st on on your (right), Richie a very rusty 65 catalina owner
Cylinder #1 is front on drivers side. Drivers side is 1-3-5-7 Pass side is 2-4-6-8.
Cylinder 1 is the first/front cylinder on the right side of the engine looking from the front of the car. That bank is 1-3-5-7 and the left bank is 2-4-6-8.
It is the rear head, the cylinder closest to the timing cover. General rule of thumb, the #1 cylinder is always the first cylinder, on the head that sits farther forward on the block. The only exception to this rule is old Pontiac engines.
1% of 326= 1% * 326= 0.01 * 326= 3.26
The firing order of an 85 Pontiac Sun Bird is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The number 1 cylinder is on the front left as you face the car.
