No damage whatsoever, as long as the engine RPM's do not exceed the vehicle's red line.
The worst damage could could have done is to bend the parking pawl in the transmission. As long as the car still goes into and out of park with no problems then you probably did no damage.
Change the brake switch located where the brake pedal is, a little above. Done!
Depend on whether it is automatic or manual and if you had the car in gear. If automatic, your parking pin in the transmission may have broken. If manual, yes something in the clutch or gears may be damaged. IMO, if your park is still working, then no damage has been done. Pushing the car 6ft would not damage either the gears or clutch on a manual, and the only damage that could be done to an A/T would be to break the Park Pall.
Shifter is blocked by a device attached to the brake pedal. If the brake pedal is not depressed it wont allow you to change out of park. There should also be a bypass button next to the shifter, in case the cable to the pedal breaks.
Make sure you press down on brake pedal. If it's still locked, could be a transmission problem.
It could be a fuse. If the brake lights do not turn on when you press the brake pedal check your fuses under your dash.
No it wont hurt anything,as long as you wait till it stops rolling to put in in park.. Ive done it a million times..
Check the brake pedal sensor sounds like this is your problem assuming that you are pressing the pedal while trying to shift out of park
You should have to depress the break pedal while shifting out of Park.
press the brake pedal when shifting
No, on most newer cars you also have to press the brake pedal to shift out of Park.
First of all the song is called "What You've Done" not "What You Have Done" and if you wanted to seel your own version of that song then you would have to contact Linkin Park's manager and ask for written permission from the band. If you don't then you could get sued.
