There would probably be no damage to the O ring but there will be damage to the engine from lack of lubrication. If you overfill the crankcase this allows the crankshaft to make contact with the excess oil in the resivoir. This will create a froth of oil mixed with air. Air is a horrible lubricant and this air mixed with the oil will cause engine overheating and wear on all moving parts. Drain out all excess oil and only fill it to the full mark on the dipstick.
How much overfilled is it? damage to the crank case may occur. I suggest draining the oil to the proper level immedietly.
What problems can occur from engine oil overfill
If you are not using it, no damage will occur. If you are not using it, no damage will occur.
Answer: Since about 1962 through 1965 most domestics have used ATF (transmission fluid) Some people use 10 weight motor oil with no problems. Brake fluid should never be used as it's not compatible with other fluids, and may cause damage. Be careful not to overfill, or damage may occur
Why would an induced over voltage occur and what damage may occur if this happend while working on an unprotected computer?
it will burn oil and damage the plugs and emissions systems resulting in a check engine light and in 02 sensors and cat converter replacement which will keep the car from passing inspection until repaired. drain excess oil with a topsider or at the drain plug. do not drive with the car in this state
it destroys the place you live
