There is an issue of the settings file changing somehow. Select "Properties" in update manager. Change the "Update upon next computer restart" option to "Update immediately" and click on "OK" Next, select "Settings" in update manager Click the "Advanced" tab, and then the button marked "Delete Update Temporary Files" Repeat the update and all should be well - you should get the "Update Applied Successfully" dialog box
If you are in the US the update has been released for Sprint. As I am from Europe i do not know the install process but I think it is over the air. The update should be released in Europe within a couple of week(end of June). Again this update is over the air. A trick is to move the phone's date a month ahead to trigger the update dialog...
