If you had been advised why ask again?
Please.... For the love of God.. Do not touch anything under your car's hood. It is obvious that you have No idea what you are doing, and will probably mess it up more than it already is. See a mechanic if you need help.
Cooling fan working?Radiator plugged or clogged?Water pump working?Radiator cap defective?Proper 50/50 water/antifreeze mix?
The water pump is on the center of the passenger side of engine. It is hard to see with the Radiator/windshield washer reservoir in the way. It is driven by the pulley below the alternator pulley and has the lower Radiator hose attached to it. UPDATE... JUST BE ADVISED, YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE ALTENATOR AND PROBABLY THE POWER STEERING PUMP AS WELL.

Yes, it can be, but rarely (advised parties). There are related compound forms such as well-advised or ill-advised.The word advised is the past tense and past participle of the verb "to advise."
Yes, "advised" does not have a prefix. It is a word on its own without any additional prefixes attached.
if you follow the radiator hoses til the end they are attached to the thermostat , and be advised they are usually tucked up and outta the way and very difficult to get to --good luck ---JAS
Your engine temperature will heat up. I have a 1997 LXi and had the same problem. Someone advised me to replace the cap (size1.1) with a surplus cap (size 1.1 but original). But still my engine temp rises up. Tried to bring the car to expert radiator specialists and said my radiator needs cleaning and overhauling. Since I have a busy sched, I have no time to bring it for a radiator cleaning. I tried to replace the radiator cap with a new one (this time size: 0.9). I observed the temperature stabilize even in long drives. The culprit: The spring from the cap and the rubber under it. Try replacing your cap first if your Honda civic lxi overheats. Try 5times, afterall the cap is not that expensive.
