Amerigo Vespucci claimed America and named it after him but because most countries are feminine, he named in America not Amerigo
------------
He did not claim America. He thought that the South American coast that he visited was a 'new world', in spite of the claim by Columbus (to his dying day) that it was part of Asia.Martin Waldseemüller in 1507, was the very first person to map this coast and name the new continent- America (as a Latinized and feminized version of Vespucci's first name).
Amerigo Vespucci was a cartographer - a mapmaker. He participated as an observer on more than one voyage to the east coast of South America between 1499 and 1502. So the short answer is... none.

Amerigo Vespucci sailed west and explored the coast of South America. He studied the writings of an ancient Egyptian named Ptolemy, who believed the Earth was largerand Asia was smaller than most people thought. Vespucci also found a new way of measuring the distance traveled east and west, and concluded that a new world had been discovered. Martin Waldseemuller drew a map, and included the new continent, which he named for Vespucci. In 1507, the continent "America" first appeared on a map.
Amerigo's job was the ship's navigator to you know make sure the winds were OK because then they didn't have steam ships or anything but they had sailboats and stuff so yeah. Hope it helps!
Amerigo Vespucci proved that Christopher Columbus had discovered a "new world" and not India and China.
OKay, one is led to believe that yes, Amerigo Vespucci did in fact meet with Native Americans. He traveled to many established societies, not made by the Europeans. Just think to yourself when Columbus "discovered" the Americas. Then think of the time when Vespucci explored. There was not much time for the Spanish/other countries to colonize in the part of South America he explored. He did say he met people (Im almost positive) therefore, they must have been Native Americans. Thanks for listening I hope this helped! P.S. The stuff in quotes is what I said, its in quotes because I think it looks cool. =)

They remember Amerigo for discovering Brazil and for ding stuff to make him be named for America. Hope it helps! Signed, /^v^\=Bird
Italy, America comes from the Latin feminine form of the Amerigo. This is after Amerigo Vespucci, an explorer who sailed for Spain, and recognized the New World as something different, not as India, which was originally thought by Christopher Columbus. You can find much more on this topic by goggling his name. I hope this helps you.
Amerigo Vespucci didn't find any continents but he did discover Venezula and named it, Venezula meaning "Little Venice, since he was from Italy. Hope it helps! Signed, /^v^\=Birdy

To find things in order can have multiple definitions. For example, things can be ordered alphabetically, numerically, by size, or by color.
Spanish explorers hoped to find wealth, such as gold and other valuable resources, in North America. They also sought to establish new trade routes and expand the Spanish Empire's territory. Additionally, they were driven by religious motivations to spread Christianity among the indigenous populations.
When the European explorers journeyed to South America, they hoped to find riches including gold. They also hoped to find land and to create colonies.
