Mahatma Gandhi was social reformer as well as the leader of India during the war of independence he started many movements such as the chaamparan movement in1916,ahmdabad movement in1918,kheda movement in1918,non cooperation movement ETC.this is much work to be done by u and me so u must understand his feelings

While it could fill pages to describe what Gandhi did as a reformer - his two key achievements were - remove social barriers between different Indian communities (so called Upper and Lower castes) and Religions (Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Parsis, Sikhs etc.) and giving Indian woman an equal space in society.
