George Washington didn't like how the British were treating the colonists in the America's. He didn't like all the taxes that were placed on items such as tea, documents and mail. He also didn't like how the British soldiers treated the colonists in general. During war time, or any other time, the soldiers could decide to live with a family at no expense to them, eating all their food and controling a family they didn't know.
