What did God make on the fifth day?

Sea creatures and birds were created on Day 5 according to Genesis 1:20-23:

In the first day, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1, 2 Peter 3, and several other passages in Scripture strongly suggest that the universe was created out of water. This was the beginning of creation, but God specifically created light on this day, and then separated it from the darkness to cause Day and Night.
