He had silk clothes, and jewellry
Henry VIII was known for his extravagant and lavish style of dressing. He favored luxurious fabrics like silk, velvet, and fur, often adorned with jewels and embroidery. He often wore elaborate doublets, gowns, and codpieces, which were exaggeratedly padded garments worn over the groin area. His attire reflected his wealth and status as the monarch of England.
Henry the VIII family was not so very good
Henry VIII was a bright spark, and a most clever scholar.
Henry VIII wore the royal wardrobe that monarchs of the time wore. The court followed suit with everyone wearing clothing designed to impress. What may look like a dress to us was a statement of the power and majesty (and the wealth) of the King of England. In the court, wardrobe spoke volumes to those present. The "dress" that Henry VIII wore, and, in particular, the doublet and jacket, announced his rank. It was that simple. "We look like we do because we are the King of England!"
