First, Juan Diego found beautiful flowers blooming on the top of Tepeyac Hill on a frosty December morning. Second, when Juan Diego opened his tilma (cloak) for the bishop a miraculous image of Our Lady of Guadalupe was found imprinted on the fabric. This image still exists today and is on display at the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City.
