Since he was alive in the 1200's we can only guess those things. He did write a book telling what he saw, felt, and heard, but historians think he made up much of it. Much of the world was pretty stinky in this time because it had no Plumbing and sewage ran into rivers and down streets. People also didn't bathe so he probably smelled some foul odors. It took 4 years for him to reach China with his father and uncle.
Marco Polo observed diverse cultures, bustling trade routes, exotic animals, and magnificent architecture during his travels. He saw the Great Wall of China, witnessed the Mongol Empire in action, heard different languages and music, smelled new spices and foods, and touched unique textiles and artifacts.
senses means see, hear, smell, taste and touch. sense organs means the organs which helps to know the senses and they are eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin. Regards, Mahasudhakar.
Even prior to his own trips, Marco Polo had traveled to many locations with his family. People would flock to come hear his stories about the lands he had visited, thus, earning him the nickname 'The man with a million stories.'
The historical significance of this game relates back to a time when Marco Polo (age 17) was traveling to China with his father and uncle on their way to see the Great Khan. Marco was very tired and he fell asleep on his horse. His horse must have sensed this and slowed down dropping back from the caravan. When Marco Polo awoke he did not see his family. He began to hear voices in the desert thinking it was the caravan calling for him...hense "Marco" "Polo." He was later found but it was not his family calling. He was halluicinating.
the sensory system is not a true body system, only because all the organs fall under different categories. but the answer is... 1.) eyes (sight) 2.) ears (hear) 3.) mouth (taste) 4.) nose (smell) 5.) hands (touch) [ this can be done by any part of the body with nerve endings.]
