Girls- sometimes the girls were out in the Field's, but usually they were in the kitchen cooking or cleaning.

Boys- they were mostly out on the feilds. They would chop wood, make things, work the land, oversee the slaves.

since they were originally jailed because they were in debt, they served as servants in America for about 3-7 years, they were given basic necessities such as food and clothing. After they paid their time as servants, they were set free and were able to start over in America.
