It depends on what you mean. All Christians, by definition, believe that Jesus was a part of God and thus God Himself, incarnated in human form through the vessel Mary. The virgin birth and all that. Early Christians were not Christians at all, however- they were mostly a sect of Jesus-following Jews who believed that he was the Messiah prophecied in the Old Testament, mainly the five books of the Jewish Pentateuch.

These sects, headed up mostly by the original Twelve Apostles and their successors, were persecuted terribly in the area occupied by the Roman Empire (basically everywhere) up until Emperor Constantine in the 4th century CE.

There exist throughout history several different odd sects of Christian-like followers who believed a range of things about Jesus- that he was just a prophet and nothing more, that he had a brother; but the tie to God in some way deifying Jesus remained tradition.
