The British defeated the French forces, and when they signed the Treaty of Paris (1763) - they ceded almost all of their territory in mainland North America. The British gained control of Florida diplomatically through the same treaty.
Spain gave up her claims to Oregon, ceding them to the US. She also gave up Florida to the US.
