Quran says:
ÙÙŽØ°ÙŽÙƒÙّرْ Ùَمَا أَنتَ بÙÙ†Ùعْمَت٠رَبÙّكَ بÙكَاهÙن٠وَلَا مَجْنÙون٠﴿٢٩﴾ أَمْ ÙŠÙŽÙ‚ÙولÙونَ شَاعÙرٌ نَّتَرَبَّص٠بÙه٠رَيْبَ الْمَنÙون٠﴿٣Ù?ï´¾
Meaning English translation:
{ So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman. (29) Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?" (30) }
[Quran, chapter 52, verse 29-30]
And says:
وَعَجÙبÙوا Ø£ÙŽÙ† جَاءَهÙÙ… مّÙنذÙرٌ Ù…ÙّنْهÙمْ Û– وَقَالَ الْكَاÙÙرÙونَ هَـٰذَا سَاØÙرٌ كَذَّابٌ ﴿٤﴾
{And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magicianand a liar. (4) } [Quran, chapter 38, verse 4]
Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) passed 13 years preaching the message of Allah in Makkah. nadia Ishaq
The prophet (peace be upon him)preached in mekka for 13 years 3 years secretly in the beginning.Preached in medina for 10 years so total he preached for 23Years
Mohammad did not head to Makkah, instead he went to Medina from Makkah, because the people in Makkah had made his living there ( in Makkah) very difficult
Holy Prophet Hazrat Nuh AS preached Isam and the message of Almighty Allah for nearly 950 years.
A group of people had come to Makkah from Madinah from before and took the Shahadah. They went back to their home and spread the message
It was name given to him due to honesty by people of Makkah .
The prophet jeremiah is often refered to as the weeping prophet, he constantly told the Jews to repent and follow god, and not sinful people and idols.

The first one is the revelation of the first verse of Quran on prophet Muhammad. Then comes his public preaching to the people of Makkah. then comes his emigration to Madinah. Then is the battle of Badr and Battle of Uhad. then comes the bloodless conquest of makkah by the army of Madinah. And then comes the letters of prophet Muhammad to the various leaders of neighbouring terretories.
