A clause in the Constitution outlining that 3/5 of the slaves of each southern state were to be counted for the purposes of taxes and House representation. It does not say that each slave is 3/5 of a person as some think. This compromise was made because in the creation of the government, the Southern states wanted all their slaves to be counted in the determination of the number of House representatives each state was to receive, but did not think that they should count in determining the portion of taxes that each state should pay. The North wanted the exact opposite and so we ended up with this compromise.
The Three-Fifths Compromise was a compromise between Southern and Northern states reached during the Philadelphia Convention of 1787 in which three-fifths of the enumerated population of slaves would be counted for representation purposes regarding both the distribution of taxes and the apportionment of the members of the United States House of Representatives
In the formation of the Constitution, some representation in Legislature was based on population. Thus, the higher population you had, the more power you had. Small states like South Carolina had smaller white populations (only white people counted as 'people'), but had huge slave populations The issue was brought up as to whether slaves counted as people. If a slave counted as a person, then S.C. and other southern states would have more power. However, it would be unfair to the northern states who didn't rely on slave labor. Plus, the benefits of Legislative representation did not reach or apply to the slaves. However, in the end, it was decided that a slave would count as only 3/5 of a person.
slaves only counted as three-fiths of a vote

Assuming that you mean "fifths", the answer is three fifths.
Three and 2 fifths divided by three fifths = 17/3 or 52/3
six and three fifths
Three fifths of fifty is 30.
Three fifths of a hundred is sixty.
two fifths
Three fifths is larger than three eighths
three fifths is bigger.
Three fifths of a piece.
