In WW2 at least, the women went to work. Women in Britain, Canada and USA went to work in industry, building tanks, guns, ammunition and bombs. They delivered aircraft from factories to air forces, they farmed, they drove ambulances (as my mother did). -Women saved us every bit as much as the men who were fighting.
They found other men.
US Women (and Women of the AXIS POWERS) ran the countries (Built the machines of war) while the men went off to war. Women made them, Men used them.
While men were 'in the field' fighting in the war, women had to take on the roles that men used to do. This included factory work, construction, teaching, law enforcement, fire-fighting etc.
Women grew corn while men fished
I think the all women should fight in front lines in the war because if the women are brave to take care of their kids while their men is in the war the should they are also able to fight in the front lines in the war.
they started doing more work while their husbands were gone .The women volunteered to make bullets, guns, clothing, and other war supplies. The men usually made the vehicles, but some rarely did help to make them. Since the men were at war, women were given men' jobs.
Women while the men were at war

Women contributed much to the war effort. While men were at the war front, women had to take the jobs usually reserved for men. Women began working the factories and creating the guns, bullets, aircraft, you name it! Some women even dressed up as men to try to fight for their country. Both women and men contributed much to the Allied victory.
They worked in the factories while the men where away at war. Specifically ammunition factories.
while men were away fighting the war, the women decided to take up the jobs that were initionally for men. And then when the men came back they seen that women were cababile to do these jobs.
It gave them jobs while the men were at war proving they were capable
Women did not want to give up jobs they had while the men were at war
Women was thought to be housewives and take care of the children while the men went out and fought the war. Their were more men fighting and going to war, so it was a culture sense that the one's whom would stay at home was the women.
they took over things such as jobs and the home while men were at war.
Women had won the job of men while the men were away. When men came back and demanded their jobs back, the women had already grown fond of their new jobs and wouldn't leave.
They did the jobs the mens used to do & kept factories & other work places running while men were at war
