New Zealand ranges in longitude between roughly 166.47° East to 178.55° East. Longitude is measured from the Prime Meridian, so those are the angles if you start at the Prime Meridian and travel eastward. Traveling westward from the Prime Meridian, the corresponding angles are 181.45° and 193.53° .
New York City parallels and meridians
Basically there are more than 3 countries located in the east part of prime meridian thus, CHINA, New Zealand and TURKEY are one of them. -Dominic-
Chicago is west of New York.
I must assume that you're not talking about any of the cities/towns of Angola in Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, North Carolina, or New York, since the Prime Meridian doesn't come anywhere near North America. The point in the African country of Angola that's closest to the Prime Meridian is the point on the Atlantic coast at the west end of the Angola/Namibia boundary. The longitude at that point is 11.756° East ... about 710 miles east of the PM.
There's only one Prime Meridian. It passes through England, France, Spain, Algeria, Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo, and Ghana, but, sadly, it doesn't pass through New Guinea.
No. The "Prime Meridian" (Greenwich Meridian) is 0° longitude and runs through Greenwich, England, western Europe, and Africa. The International Date Line is on the other side of the world, at 180° longitude (east or west is the same line), and marks the start of each new calendar day. It is midnight at the Date line when it is noon at the prime Meridian. The actual line has detours to accommodate Russia, the Aleutians, and New Zealand.
East / Northeast depending on what part of New York you are in.
