Stroke, High Blood Pressure, Liver Cirrosis, Weight Gain (Belly Fat) which can lead too Diabetes (esp. grain based beverages i.e. beer and rye), Cancer, Mental delays/Development(in utero during pregnancy), susceptibility to hemorrhage in the case of surgery or accident if under the influence, etc.

Some Alcoholic Beverages have benefits such as anti oxidents like red wines (in small amounts, not consuming bottles), whereas grain and rye derived alcoholic beverages (Beer) do more harm then good. Spritis are purely toxic to the body.
