Best left to a trained person.
No. it is a single cock spring system. You only need to break the barrel once to cock it and fire it.
Not all pellet guns use C02 some are designed to use a spring or pump. Pellet guns that use C02 are rapid fire guns and do not require re-cocking or pumping between each shot. BUT they usually have less power that spring or pump pellet guns.
CO2 pellet guns work by using CO2 for rapid fire, with CO2 the gun does not need to be pumped or recorked after every fire. You can also find spring loaded pellet guns.
It's not designed to take game that large. You would need an air rifle that fires a 45 or 50 caliber pellet. "Sam Yang" or "Shin Sung" make such rifles

You will need to buy as many different brands and weights as you can afford and shoot them . Weapons exhibit a preference for one or more loads.----------- New answer---------------The PX Storm fires a 380 FPS. I suggest you find the heaviest pellet you can like the H&N brand or Kodiak brand. Heavy pellets will fly slower but they will fly straighter and hit harder than lightweight pellets. Here is an Example:A Gamo PBA pellet weighs 5.4 grams.A H&N pellet weighs 10.65 grams. The H&N will fly straighter but slower than the Gamo. It will also have a much herder impact than the light weight pellet that is effected by crosswind where the H&N will not be effected by crosswind as much.
First I assume you mean a rifle not a gun: You are talking about 225 feet. At this distance I suggest that you look at some of the higher end pellet rifles. In particular the "Recharged Pneumatic Guns" (PCPs) they are more expensive but offer greater distance. You will most likely need a scope to hit the target at that distance. I suggest that you look up www.pyramydair.com/ or http:/www.airgunsofarizona.com and locate a rifle for your needs. Gamo makes a spring loaded power-plant shotgun called the 'Viper Express" I have read that it can take out a squirrel at 10 yards (30 feet.) This may be a less expensive alternate for you than a PCP. ( it shoots "Shot" or a "22 Cal" pellet.)
You need to state "MADE by Who" there are over 100 different companies that make pellet rifles.
You may need to take it apart and see if the spring is damaged. The whole fixture may need to be replaced.
Strongly advise you to have this done. Even if you can get the strut removed from the car,you will need a spring compress to remove/replace spring. There is a lot of energy in a spring and you can be seriously injured or killed if spring is not properly handled.
Nope. Pellet guns are fairly safe to use.
