It depends on where the Inuit lives, not all inuit live in the north so the answer above would be correct. There are certainly no McDonald's available outside urban areas of the North. Most supplies are flown in or trucked in over ice roads in the remote areas so the Inuit who live in the small villages and settlements have regional staple foods unlike what we are used to in the south. Hunting, gathering and some very limited farming is carried out. Store bought food is very expensive and "country food" is often preferred. Seal, whale, caribou, fish and small game including birds are commonly eaten. Various varieties of fruits, nuts and berries do grow in the short arctic summer/fall and are harvested when available as supplements to the diet.
First Nation and Inuit peoples used many different strategies: hunting, gathering wild plants, farming, and trading food between tribes. One thing was for certain; nothing was ever wasted, especially the animals.
