There favorite foods are snails, cray fish, tadpols, fish, crab, worms, fly's, water bugs, algae, meal worms, frogs, and lobster. That's some of the stuff i feed my soft shell turtle and my panted turtles, but i have fresh water turtles cuzz ilive in Ohio so don't eat soft shell turtles cuzz they are cool. I have a little baby one that awesome.........................

∙ 12y agoFor the first few days they will be absorbing a yoke sac into their bellies and that will sustain them for several days. Then you can start them on tetra turtle pellets (the green ones) broken in half. You could also try dried tetra shrimp. They may not start eating immediately so don't worry they can live for a very long time with out food. They will start eating eventually. Enjoy!
