Mosques are the particular places/buildings where the Muslims are commanded by Almighty Allah to pray to Him at least five times a day. Anyhow, the Muslims may offer prayer (formal/obligatory worship of Almighty Allah (God).

Rugs are used to stand on while offering prayer. They are symbol of cleanliness and purity. However, they are not obligatory. Prayer may be offered a any neat, clean and pure place.

Beads are least obligatory. They are used to count the sacred Names of Almighty Allah.
