I worked with big cats for several years, and this is how and what they were fed. The larger males received twenty pounds of chicken, horsemeat or beef six days a week. The tigresses were given around fifteen pounds. Occasionally this was augmented by fresh deer, donated by local hunters. On day seven, they were given one dozen raw eggs, beaten up in a quart of milk, with a pound of cooked rice added to the mix. Then we added vitamins, and any meds they needed to it.
