Well i just built myself a computer, heres the basics of what needs to be in a computer:
A case- to put everything in
Mother Board- everything is connected to this
Central Processing Unit (CPU)- the brain
Random Access Memory (RAM)- short term Memory
Hard Drive Disk (HDD)- long term memory
Power Supply Unit (PSU)- gives power to the whole thing
Optical Drive- reads discs etc.
Graphical Processing Unit (GPU/Graphics Card)- makes the pretty pictures on screen
Sound Card (optional)- processes sounds
That's pretty much the basics.
Robots contain one or more embedded computers.

Some of the environmental issues that is involved with computers and their components is that they contain heavy metals. They contain materials that are referred to as non-biodegradable.
E-waste consists of computers, monitors, printers, TVs, and other household electronics. The vast majority of consumer electronics contain hazardous materials that when disposed or incinerated can contaminate our air and soil. Computers contain many hazerdous toxins and chemicals that are dangerous for the envoirnment if left in landfills. Recycled computers can be upgraded with the newest programs for a small price and reused
Yes. Some very old personal computers did not have them, but all modern ones do.
Yes. Almost all metal parts of a computer's motherboard and circuitry contain copper.
It's unclear what kind of question is being asked about HP computers. HP computers contain processors but they are manufactured by HP, not another company.
A few computers use recycled plastic in their cases, and most steel and aluminum items contain recycled (scrap) metal that has gone back into the metal supply. But most components of computers are made from new materials.
