the british took over the first nations and french canadiens meaning that their land, language and religious rights and the culture. the first nations and french canadiens had to follow the british rule in the royal proclamation. therefore the quebec act in 1774 was to save the first nations and the french canadiens from the british meaning they had their culture, lanugage, land, and religious right taken back.
The Montreal Canadiens
Probably Quebec, since it is largely comprised of French Canadiens --- most of whom are Catholic. IMO.
The early French settlers, or inhabitants, of Quebec were referred to in French as Habitants. In the early years of the Canadiens the letter "H" inside the big "C" on their jerseys was often mistakenly taken by many to mean "Habitants" as a salute to the first French Canadian settlers. Therefore, the Canadiens were often referred to, and still are, as Habitants or simply "the Habs". The "C" and "H" on the sweaters simply mean Canadiens Hockey Club.
The Canadiens (watch spelling, it's french) play out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Quebec is a french place and Carnaval de Quebec is french
the french established 'QUEBEC'.
It is a common french swear used in Quebec. It means Chalice (like in church). In quebec many church items are used as swears ...
sorry to correct you, but - a) acadians are not from Quebec, they're from Nova Scotia. b) canadiens - it's spelled Canadiennes, and it's superfluous, isn't it. ___ Try Habitants. It's another name for the original settlers to Quebec. Where do you think the name Montreal Habs comes from?
Quebec is mainly french. especially in their architecture
