Giraffes tend to live in scattered groups to enjoy the abundant foliage on the trees. When winter approaches and food gets scarce, they congregate and live as a herd to collectively look for food.

The same thing that they do in all of the other seasons. The climate doesn't change much where the giraffe lives so it is warm in winter too.
Giraffes only really experience Winter in capivity (zoo's) this is because in Africa it is hot all year round.

In zoo's they are just kept warm and fed.

giraffes in the day mainly go around looking for acacia leaves from the acacia tree also they look for water pools to drink from they may look for shelter if that day is to hot to stand whilst mothers would probably look after there young and look out for predetorsxXxsexychick101xXx

Most of them live in very warm climates, so winter isn't much to care about. It's about the same temperature, and usually just a bit different when it comes to rain.
