It sounds strange to me that you would break up if you start kissing every time you see each other. Maybe it would be worth asking her for a second try?
Otherwise, restrain yourself. It's a pure matter of will, and if she's the one who starts kissing then I'd guess she still wants you somewhere. If you really like the other girl though, ask her out. Once you're together you'll find it easier to stop kissing your ex.
