PaBX (Private Automatic Branch eXchange) is a type of phone system that connects extensions of internal telephone connections to the PSTN. This is small system that can be housed in the premises of the subscriber. Example: A small office has their own PABX that switches or transfers calls where they need to go. Virtual office phone systems, Virtual PBX, on the other hand provide switching on the premise of the hosting provider.

PaBX is a type of business phone system. Others types of phone systems are virtual PBX, IP PBX, hosted PBX, KSU less phone systems, KSU phone systems, etc.
