The part alone is $250-$420 then you add $50-$75 per hr. x about 3 hrs. The shop wanted OVER $900 to change the sending unit/fuel pump (it's all 1 unit) on our 2004 Tahoe. Not sure if I can do this put I'll try to add a link to a site were after searching the internet I found sending units cheapier than I could anywhere, local parts stores even had trouble getting me one. So I hope this works for the rest of you searching LINK... http://www.tanks-to-pans.com/site/823208/page/301768
