On Valentine's Day, people can do many different things, from give another person they like a gift, to going out with a significant other to dinner (not a cheep place, though) and/or the movies.
For the gifts, a person should try to give something that is "from the heart" but not anything that would be either too cheep, like just a simple, store bought card, too extravagant, or something that would be pointless, i.e. a woman giving a man a gift card to get a manicure, or a man giving a woman a gift card to an auto body shop.
