They get jobs, typically. That's the best way to make money.

Other people inherit, invest, or do other things to make money, but generally speaking, getting a job is what people do to make money.

like others have said, JOB is the easiest but will rob you of your time. You are trading your time for paycheck.

Reselling: Buy low, sell high. In the internet era, you can list your stuff for free and let buyers find you. If your list of items are many, you can sell like a shop, sales everyday.

Start a business: if it was that easy, you probably will not be reading answers.

Start as an affiliate: low cost to get started. Once you know how to drive traffic to your offers, you're virtually printing green.
