The Jews were sent to concentration camps where most of them were killed by the Nazis. the most important name you should know and remember Adolf Hitler a Germany leader after Germany lost the war. The people turned to him for help but they made the wrong choice. He is against all Jews and non- Nazis because he believes they are to blame. so he decides to create a thing called Nazism-- kicks out Jews and non- Nazis out of Germany government. another name you should probably remember is Anne Frank-- 13 yr old girl that was a victim of the Holocaust and is a primary source today because she wrote all the events that happened during the holocaust in her diary till she died in a concentration camp. her father was the only Survivor, he found her diary, read it, published it and today now known as 2nd best published book next to The Bible.
They feel upset about it. They are sad it had to happen. They do not want it to happen ever agian. They are aware and relize how bad the suffering was it is painful for suvivors to remember their expeirence. -Round Rupert

Upset is not the right word, they will be more than upset, and of course they don't want it to happen again.
They felt nothing because they were hardened and brainwashed by Germany into thinking it was right. I would think that they felt at least a shred of basic human guilt though.
Couldn't disagree more! There is proof which states that the majority of the perpetrators were NOT brainwashed individuals. Many of them were volunteers. I suggest you read, or have a look at:Ordinary Men - Christopher BrowningHitlers willing executioners - Daniel Goldhagen. These 2 read together will give you a more rounded view and bits of evidence to make up your own mind. There is nothing 'rounded' about Goldhagen's book. He pays very little attention to most research and has a racist anti-German agenda. Most reviews of the book by professional historians were scathing.
they didnt actually know what was happening because they were being tricked by hitler, he was showing happy videos of actors in concentration camps. In conclusion they thought it was a good change so they would finally regain their power though it wasnt based on the truth.
Hitler believed that jews and other races except nordic german aryan were unacceptable wanted aryans to rule the world. The majority of people except some high cast people unaccepted him.It was only after his death that people came to know about crimes committed by hitler. Now the people hated him.
The Holocaust makes me feel sad and depressed. Think about it yourself... imagine, being held captive in a camp, having to sleep with people you don't know, being separated from you family, and having to work all day long, being starved to death, given only watery soup, having to worry about catching a disease. You are shaved bald, given only striped pajamas and no shoes to wear.... I could think of a thousand reasons why the Holocaust makes me depressed. Think about it. 6 million Jews alone were killed. Think how many more were killed in total! What the saddest part to me is that 1.5 million Jewish children alonewere killed. They could have grown to become people to find a cure for cancer, for AIDS, doctors, fireman... it's so sad! :( Maybe this is enough for you. Hope this answers your question...
The holocaust affected people by not trusting anyone
To all decent people everywhere including many Germans, the holocaust was utterly abhorrent. Until a fairly late stage in the war, the Allies said relatively little about the Holocaust.
because it did not affect them.
They were emaciated.
it didn't, it was under a different command structure
About 11-17 million people died in the Holocaust (depending on the definition of Holocaust used). Unfortunately, there are competing definitions. It was actually the mass murder of six million Jews. There is no agreed definition of Holocaust survivor. Please see the related questions below.
Many people say the Holocaust isn't real because you cant gas 6 million people but the truth is only about 2 million-3 million were the rest were shot by the einzatsgruppen in large bit sometime 30 thousand at a time, around two million died from this and the rest from starvation or disease.
They died.
because it did not affect them.
Hitler didn't just affect the Holocaust, he was the Holocaust.
Nazi persecution drove many extremely talented people to the US.
it affected them by the nazi starting the holocaust
some of the stuff they did to people in 1930's still happens today.
Over 6 million Jews and other peoples were killed and I think that would negatively affect anyone. This does not even include all the friends and family of the people killed that were negatively affected by the holocaust.
Germany
People who do not believe that the holocaust took place are known as 'holocaust deniers.'
The Holocaust did not and could not attack people.
No, not really.
There is remembrance of the Holocaust but there is no 'Holocaust movement'. That expression makes it sound like a political campaign.
