There are some articles about things that reptiles can learn. The predominant thought about reptiles for centuries has been that they are stupid. But new research conducted with an open mind has shown that reptiles can learn some things. Since it is new research, the breadth and depth of what reptiles learn is not specifically known, yet. But here are two articles about studies:
In this University of Rochester article, "Snakes Show Surprising Ability to Learn", it is reported that snakes learned to escape from a complicated bucket with holes in it.
New York Times: "Cold Blooded Does Not Mean Stupid". In this article it is reported that a tortoise learned to navigate a maze and lizards learned to get food out of a trap door.
Try to learn about reptiles as much as possible and then you will have something in common to talk about.
One can learn about reptiles from many online sources. There are the standard first places to look such as wikipedia or more specific websites such as National Geographic website. There are also forums where people chat about reptiles, where one can gain a lot of knowledge such as reptile forums.
Reptiles such as snakes and lizards eat the annoying and frustating animals that we dont like, such as rodents (mice, Rats), Mosquites, spiders, crickets etc. Reptiles are a great species of animals to learn about, which i am currently doing. Hope this Helped

Nothing. They're reptiles. Reptiles lack the brain bits (cerebrum) that mammals have which makes them capable of complex emotions like love and hate. For reptiles it's eat/don't eat, attack/flee, and so forth. They will learn where the food comes from, and eventually learn not to bite the hand that feeds them, but they simply have no way of expressing love, hate, or anything in-between.
Frogs OK PEOPLE! WHEN WILL YOU LEARN THAT FROGS ARE NOT REPTILES!! THEYRE AMPHIBIANS!!
