Science has a problem when it comes to Archaeology because few if any of the material written or made survives to our time. And of the total of sites known to modern science, perhaps 2% have actually been meaningfully excavated with fewer still having been published and made available the data for all in the scholarly world. From this then has developed a 'scholarly bias' to all things biblical - some even totally discounting anything in the Bible as mere myth.
Yet there are some who still find importance in Bible history like biblical historian Eugene Merrill who describes the importance the Exodus has for the rest of the Bible: "The exodus is the most significant historical and theological event of the Old Testament because it marks God's mightiest act in behalf of his people...To it the Book of Genesis provides an introduction and justification, and from it flows all subsequent Old Testament revelation...In the final analysis, the exodus served to typify that exodus achieved by Jesus Christ for people of faith so that it is a meaningful event for the church as well as for Israel" (Kingdom of Priests, 1996, pp. 57-58).
Christians should take note that Jesus Himself, validated the Exodus story in John 6:49-51.
As poetry. It has little historical basis.
I think the 'scholars' said Jesus was claiming to be 'GOD' with the statement attributed to Jesus in John 8:58 by comparing the "I am" with the "I AM" in Exodus 3:14 - clever play with word!God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" [Exodus 3:14]"Very truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" [John 8:58]

I don't think there is any significance to this date.

Most scholars think not.
Scholars think that people migrated to Asia to north America by the Bering strait. that was a bridge that stretched around Asia and north America.
