As far as i know the only brake warning light is for the Parking brake. In my truck sometimes after i pull the brake release lever (lower left dash, next to the hood release) the light remains on... so you can try pulling it again...or pull it and pull the brake pedal back with your foot. If that dosent fix it im not too sure what else to tell ya...
Which lights are they is it the check engine abs and brake lights? If so its the transmission ouput speed sensor that needs to be replaced. Inexpensive unless you continue to drive it and blow the transmission. good luck
Possibly blown fuse, bad brake light switch, or blown brake light bulbs.
One or more of the tail lights, head lights, or brake lights is out.
The white parts of the tail lights are the reverse lights.
One fuse block in the dash, and one under the hood
brakelight switch may need adjusting
Just connect it to one of the brake lights hot lead, and ground it to the truck.
we are having back brakes problems
You have an electircal malfunction. Take it to a repair shop.
Check fuses and bulbs first.
normal wear and tear. Brake light switch, bulbs or sockets.
check your ground wire in the back
Check to see if you have knocked the brake light switch off of its mount. It is located above the brake pedal.
i had the same problem and i replaced the sensor/switch on the brake pedal itself and got mine to work.
Are you sure it is your running lights & not just the brake lights? A bad brake light switch (common problem) will cause your brake lights to stay on all the time because they are not wired to the accessory switch, meaning they will work whether the truck is on or off. Hope this helps!
ABS and brake lights on dash will be on. Speedometer and cruise will be inoperative.ABS and brake lights on dash will be on. Speedometer and cruise will be inoperative.
The abs and brake lights stay on when there is a blown fuse or when the abs computer detects a malfunction and sets a code.
Multiple warning lights usually mean there is a power feed issue or a communication system failure.
Bring to a shop that has an ABS scanner to determine the problem
There is a connection issue between the trailer brake controller and the trailer.
How do you stop brake pulsation on 1998 dodge ram
A blow 15 amp fuse in the under dash fuse panel causes that i think it is fuse # 24, goes to csmt or something like that
Had the same problem with my 2000 Dodge, all it was was low brake fluid???? Don't know if that will help. I HAD SAME PROBLEM WAS FIXED WITH A SIMPLE FUSE REPLACEMENT FOR BRAKE LIGHTS ABS AND BRAKE LIGHT WARNING LIGHTS WILL COME ON WHEN FUSE IS BLOWN FOR BRAKELIGHTS do you still have brakes if the light are on constantly have the brake and abs relays replaced. I had the same problem on my 99 ram 1500 4X4 Another thing to consider is whether or not the speedometer works at low speeds. If it doesn't read anything until about 25 mph, check the sensor on the top of the rear differential. It should show about 750 ohms if it is good. These are a known issue on Dodge trucks and generally show as an open circuit when they are bad. It is about a 10 minute job for the diy mechanic.
